課程概述

每週四隔週上課 (請見下方課程表) ，與臨床病理討論錯開時間。 

課程目標
 在人口增加、交流快速以及全球化的時代，諸多國際專家倡議「健康一體（One Health）」的概念；近年COVID-19疫情，再度驗證其重要性。感染症防治不僅是生物科學，也牽涉社會科學。故設計本課程引導學生在微生物學、病理生理學等傳統學門授課以外，從宏觀的角度，如歷史、社會學、流行病學等面向，瞭解新興及再崛起傳染性疾病對人類健康及生存之危害，瞭解感染症以及預防策略。 
課程要求
 分組報告50%：以世界上實際發生過的感染症outbreak作為案例，由學生分組進行案例分析，討論可能的傳染途徑、防疫策略等並繳交分組報告（中英文皆可），主題、格式與繳交時間待課程中公布。12/22進行分組口頭報告。學生互評(25%)，老師評分(25%)。
個人成績50%：組內互評(35%)，平時成績（15%）。
